Policy and Procedure
- Without premium processing it takes about approximately sixteen months before the RN will be called for Consulate interview. Power Personnel will coordinate with the RN's interview at the Consulate. After the RN received their respective visa, Power Personnel will coordinate the fare and schedule the RN's flight.
- Visa Screen is mandatory for USBCIS before they will grant a visa to the nurse. To meet the requirements of Visa Screen, the nurse needs to pass the IELTS or TOFFEL or IBT examination. Nurses who do not possess the Visa Screen Certificate and have approved I-140 will have the chance to be interviewed by the consulate but will not be given visa. USBCIS will grant only one year to the nurse to pass the English test and secure Visa Screen
Power Personnel will provide services to the nurse to find resources how this nurse will pass the English test.
The Permanent Resident Card will be received by Power Personnel after one month of arrival in US. Green Card will be delivered to the nurse by either the CFO or President of Power Personnel.
PP will provide services to the RN in securing their Social Security Card and sending it to the California Board of Nurses to secure the RN NCLEX card. It takes about three to four weeks to receive the Social Security Number and about one week to receive the NCLEX card. In the meantime, while the RN is waiting for the Social Security Number and NCLEX card Power Personnel will schedule the RN to attend a CPR class which is mandatory before they can start to work.
RN shall receive up to one week of clinical orientation in an Acute, Sub Acute or Skilled Nursing Facility. This orientation shall provide the nurse with an orientation to facility policies and procedures, government requirements, and clinical hands-on rotation in the patient unit. The readiness for shift assignment shall be based on clinical and skill performance of the nurse to be determined by the facility and Power Personnel staff.
